Resilience

Narayanan is involved in research using multilevel socioecological models of resilience in different at-risk groups like adolescent students from rural and low-income backgrounds, physically disabled, transgenders, cancer patients, HIV/AIDs patients, Muslim adolescents, institutional children, women in intersections, etc.,

Positive Psychology

Work focusing on ways to promote character strengths, positive emotions, and flourishing are carried out.

School Psychology

Several grant projects and independent research in the lab have focused on bullying and victimization, academic resilience among at-risk students, school-based and culture-based interventions to promote academic resilience.
