The College Development Council (CDC) of Bharathiar University was established in the academic year 1985 - 86, with financial assistance from the UGC. Its primary objective is to draw plans effectively to execute and coordinate the developmental activities of the colleges and research institutes affiliated with the University and the UGC. It strives to promote well-structured and well-planned undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs in all the colleges. It also plays a constructive role in developing the infrastructural facilities of the colleges by forwarding their proposals to the UGC. It organizes periodical meetings with the principals of the affiliated colleges to plan and update the recent trends and developments in the fields of education and research.

Deans of Faculties - Bharathiar University: DEANS OF FACULTIES - BHARATHIAR UNIVERSITY

The Deans are the Heads of the different Faculty like Arts, Commerce, Education, Science, and Social Science. He / She shall be responsible for the conduct and maintenance of the standards of teaching and research in the Faculty. Besides Deans of Faculty, a Dean of Research looks after the Research programs exclusively.
