Electrochemical Biosensors

Electrochemical sensors got a wide future for the low cost easy to use wearable device for a wide range of applications-in particular, Monitoring and medical diagnostics such as precise estimation of Creatinine (CRE) for indispensable analysis used in the clinical settings for early-stage detection of kidney dysfunction.

Development of immunocomplex-based optical biosensor for diagnosis of typhoid.

Detection of Dissolved Organic Polyphenolic pollutants for industrial application.

Development of wearable devices of biosensors.

Development of smart sensing technologies for stress detection in day today life.

Make the use of a conductive carbon fiber to construct a flexible biosensing platform for monitoring biomarkers in sweat.

Electrochemical detection of dopamine using metal oxide nanostructures prepared by simple hydrothermal method with varying reaction conditions.

Steroid detection using fabric based wearable sensors.

Establishment of wearable sensor technology for the point of care devices.

The description of the different generation of glucose biosensor is used to describe in some detail the operation of amperometric sensors and how the introduction of mediators can enhance the performance of sensors.

 

Energy Storage Devices

Energy storage systems provide a wide range of technological approaches to managing our power supply to create a more resilient energy infrastructure and bring cost savings to utilities and consumers.

Due to the lack of fuel wide range of storage technologies have been developed to evolve, adapt, and innovate in response to changing energy requirements and advances in technology.

To understand the various approaches currently being deployed around the world. 

New approaches such as Langmuir-Blodgett deposition of NASICON type Na3V2(PO4)3 (NVP) -MnO2 nanocomposite thin-film for the hybrid energy storage application. 

The production of two dimensional (2D) layers, especially nanosheet is significant importance to develop supercapacitors.

Developing various nanocomposite fibers for higher power density supercapacitors.

Highly efficient photochemical water splitter for hydrogen production.

Preparing Nanocomposites used as anode materials for lithium-ion batteries and their energy storage capacities.

Photochemical water splitter for hydrogen production were some of the research contributions in the field of energy storage devices.

 

Gas Sensing

Our research in this area is currently focused on sensing with applications including environmental and health monitoring, air quality assessment, industrial process monitoring, and security. Sensing technology has been widely investigated and utilized for gas detection.

Due to the different applicability and inherent limitations of different gas sensing,

technologies have been working on different scenarios with enhanced gas sensor calibration. 

Detection of Volatile Organic compounds and other toxic gases for the environment safety and highly selective of certain gas and low detection limit can give a potential in point of care in clinical diagnosis. 

Current research focus on developing sensors operates at ambient temperature which reduces energy consumption with high sensitivity, short response time and low cost.
