    Bio-inspired Algorithms

    Study and analysis of Bio-inspired optimization techniques, identification of suitable algorithms for problem solving, and development of bio-inspired frameworks as per the specification of the research problem. Enhancement of algorithm performance through local search methods and parameter optimization, and application of the algorithms to solve real world optimization problems in the domain of Agriculture, Water Resources Management, Dynamic Vehicle routing and Climate Change.

    Artificial Intelligence

    Design and development of Artificial Intelligence frameworks by using machine learning and deep learning techniques. Deployment of AI frameworks in Healthcare, Image classification and analysis, Cognitive Intelligence, Agriculture and Supply chain. Integration of AI and IOT to obtain live data from the problem space and development of smart systems towards ubiquitous monitoring and autonomous, intelligent decision-making.

    Agent Based Computing

    Design of Intelligent Agents with the ability to sense the environment and provide required solutions proactively. Provisioning of autonomous systems to collaborate with any component and adaptive systems to learn and react accordingly, and mobility systems with the potential to work in any platform. Development of software agent architecture for efficient job scheduling in a cloud and improved response in a Cyber Physical System environment. The agent architecture interconnects various software agents, works with multiple concurrent jobs, and makes the cyber physical system operate autonomously.
