Research focus:

Our focus is to stimulate advanced and promising research in phytomedicine and its clinical applications. To lead innovative research in the modernization of traditional medicine that brings out effective and safe bioproducts from plants.

• Research endeavors include analysis of potential antioxidants in plants, nutritional content and bioavailability, separation and purification of bioactive compounds, activity assessment against normal and cancerous cell lines, preclinical studies using animal models. 

• Our research is exclusively done with the goal to develop life-saving herbal medicine produced industrially and made available commercially. Our research fosters unveil novel insights in advanced perspectives with a strong appreciation for team work to effectively tackle our scientific dilemmas. 

• The research and outcomes are the true reflection of leadership and hard work motivating students and young researchers to build breakthrough research ideas in collaboration with other fields of Science

Thrust areas:

• Documentation of traditional medicinal system from plant sources and its availability.

• Scientific validation of medicinal plants against various diseases and their evaluation in research models.
