About Women's Club

Bharathiar University Women’s Club(BUWC) is established in the year 2007 to nurture the strength of women studentsand womenemployees. BUWC helps to bring out the talents of students and faculty members. As a part of BUWC, Bharathiar University Women’s Care Centre(BU-WCC) was established in the year 2008. This care centre serves as a place of rest and shelter for the women staff and students of Bharathiar University when they are feeling indisposed. BU-WCC has sick room with first aid kit accommodating two people at a time made available for both staff and students. Women’s Day has been celebrated for the past 15 years with lots of zeal & glory involving many inspirational role models and achievers from among the Women.
