- Overview
The B.Voc. Multimedia and Animation is a three-year undergraduate programme approved by UGC and awarded by Bharathiar University. The programme is designed to develop creative, technical, and artistic skills required in the rapidly growing media and entertainment industry.
It provides a strong foundation in graphic design, web design, 2D & 3D animation, visual effects (VFX), and game development, along with hands-on training using industry-standard tools and software. The curriculum emphasizes creativity, storytelling, and practical exposure through projects mandate and structural internships.
- Eligibility
A pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent from a recognized board. Students with an interest in design, creativity, animation, or media technologies can apply.
- Course Nature
The programme is creative, skill-based, and industry-oriented, focusing on both artistic expression and technical expertise.
• Combination of theory, practical labs, and studio-based learning in 60% technical skill & 40% of therotical.
• Hands-on training in graphic design, animation, VFX, and game development.
• Includes NSQF-aligned job roles such as Graphic Designer, Event Manager, Art Director, and AR/VR Producer
