Radiation Protection laboratory has been established with the financial support of Rs. 30 lakhs received from the University Grant Commission (UGC). It consists of equipments and components required to perform Radiation Instrumentation Laboratory that includes Optically Stimulated Luminescence Dosimetry (OSLD) system, Gamma Spectrometer, alpha, beta counting systems, 500 mAs Allengers Radiography unit etc., It also contains Radiation Safety instruments and Positive Ion Detector that has been developed indigenously for breath analysis.
