• RUSA “Financial Empowerment of Marginalized/Destitute Women in Coimbatore District”.

• Minor Project on  “Financing of MSMEs: Issues and Challenges – A study with Reference to Salem District of TamilNadu funded by ICSSR

• Inter Country project in ERASMUS-EDU-2022-EMJM-DESIGN entitled “EMJM Rural areas and violence against women” with SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA University, Spain, University of Cape Verde, Cape Verde, CIESAS-Unidad Regional Sureste, Mexico, andUniversity Federal of Paraíba, Brazil

• Innovative Project “Technology Inclusion for the Development of Small and Medium Scale Women Enterprises in Coimbatore”-April 2011.

• Minor project “Implementation of Sexual Harassment at Workplace (Prevention and Redressal) Act 2013” by Stake Holder of Coimbatore District – An Intervention Study.

• Major Project “Women’s Contribution to Farm based Economies and Their access to Land Rights – A Study in Tamil Nadu”.

• “Screening and Create the Registry of Disease pattern in Tribal Communities and provide the Health Care Strategies, genetic Counseling and create the awareness to Tribal women Population in Tamil Nadu, India

• Skill Development Programme on Gender Sensitization and Social Action In association with District Social Welfare Office, Ooty funded by RUSA 2.0 Under Skill Development Centre

• Webinar on “NRI Marriages: Issues concerning NRI Marriages funded by NCW, New Delhi

• Implementation of Domestic Violence Act and the effectiveness thereof funded by National Commission  for Women, New Delhi

• Gender Audit of Bharathiar University, NGM College (2023-24)and Agurchand Manmull Jain College (2022-23)

• Seminar on “Helping the Women of Denotified Irula Tribe in Anaikatti: Challenges and Recommendations” funded by NCW, New Delhi

• Six One Day Seminars on “Capacity Building & Personality Development for UG/PG Girl Students” funded by NCW, New Delhi

• Fourteen drug abuse prevention programme organized to government colleges of Coimbatore range and Bharathiar University funded by MSJ&E, New Delhi

• Conducted Twelve programmes on gender budgeting funded by MWCD, New Delhi,

• Conducted five Refresher Course in association with HRDC, Bharathiar University.

• MoU with University of Santiago de compostela, Spain.

• Signing of Guelph MoU.

• Consultancy - Awareness Programme on POSH Act.

• As Empanelled by Ministry of Women and Child Development, New Delhi the Department has organized 42 awareness programme to the workers of the SCM Garments under consultancy service.

The Department of Women’s Studies entered into an MOU with the Nirmala College for Women, Coimbatore, with an understanding to undertake the following activities:

Exchange of faculties and students in the programmes conducted by the department of women’s studies, Bharathiar University and Nirmala College for women. Students field visit and internship programme.
