Ongoing Project

  1. RUSA “Financial Empowerment of Marginalized/Destitute Women in Coimbatore District”. 800 Marginalized and Destitute women are being trained in various entrepreneurial skills. The amount utilized till now is Rs.7, 75,000/-.
  2. Management and Entrepreneurship/English Employability and Entrepreneurship” funded by UGC, sanctioned amount Rs. 25,00,000/
  3. Skill  Development Programme on  “Event Management”  funded by UGC, New Delhi
  4. Minor Project on  “Financing of MSMEs: Issues and Challenges – A study with Reference to Salem District of TamilNadu funded by ICSSR as Co Principal Investigator
  5. Inter Country project in ERASMUS-EDU-2022-EMJM-DESIGN entitled “EMJM Rural areas and violence against women” with SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA University, Spain, University of Cape Verde, Cape Verde, CIESAS-Unidad Regional Sureste, Mexico, andUniversity Federal of Paraíba, Brazil
  6. To conduct a survey of women population in selected area and create a directory of breast and cervical cancer patients

Completed Projects

  • I innovative Project “Technology Inclusion for the Development of Small and Medium Scale Women Enterprises in Coimbatore”-April 2011. The sanctioned amount of the project Rs.1,00,000/- (UGC)
  • Minor project “Implementation of Sexual Harassment at Workplace (Prevention and Redressal) Act 2013” by Stake Holder of Coimbatore District – An Intervention Study. The Project was successfully completed. The outcome of the project 110 Institutions have initiated to Implementation of Sexual Harassment at Workplace (Prevention and Redressal) Act 2013”. The amount sanctioned for the project Rs.4,47,000/-.
  • Major Project “Women’s Contribution to Farm based Economies and Their access to Land Rights – A Study in Tamil Nadu”. The project is in 2nd Stage. Ist installment of the project utilized Rs.11, 07,225/-. 
  • “Screening and Create the Registry of Disease pattern in Tribal Communities and provide the Health Care Strategies, genetic Counseling and create the awareness to Tribal women Population in Tamil Nadu, India
  • Gender Audit of Bharathiar University

Letter of Collaboration (LOC)

Prof.Dr.Zenetta Rosaline, Department of Women’s Studies, Bharathiar University signed Letter of Collaboration with Department of Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies of Oregon State University (OSU), Corvallis, Professor. Susan. M. Shaw signed the Letter of Collaboration on behalf of Oregon State University (OSU) for a period of five years (2020 to 2025).
