To organize an International Conference during 2026-27 in order to provide a platform for international collaborations.
The department will initiate necessary steps to start new AI based courses (Organic, Inorganic and Physical) under school of chemical science.
New research projects with inter disciplinary aspects (dye sensitized solar cells, Energy storage, conversion & Novel anticancer metallodrugs) for societal benefits will be submitted for the financial assistance to various funding agencies like DST, DRDO and UGC.

TN Skills Program-Chemical Lab Technology state level competition was conducted at Department of Chemistry (Level 2 by Dr.I. Prabha and Dr.T. Suresh) (Boot camp & Level 3 by Dr. I. Prabha and Dr. K. Sundaravel) and selected top 3 candidates in November & December, 2025.
