Dr. R. Sakthivel and Dr. M. Suvinthra are involved in the interdisciplinary research under the ANRF-PAIR program (Industry 4.0); Total amount Rs. 1.3. crore [Hub Institution: Indian Institute of Technology Madras] for the period 2025-2026.

1. Prof. R. Sakthivel was awarded Highly Cited Researcher in the years 2017, 2018,2019 & 2020 in the field of Mathematics by Clarivate Analytics, USA.

2. Prof. R. Sakthivel was awarded Fellow of the Academy of Sciences (2019) - The Academy of Sciences, Chennai, India.

3. Prof. R. Sakthivel received Open Arms Travel Grant from International Mathematical Union (IMU) for travel, registration & accommodation to attend International Congress of Mathematics (ICM 2018), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, August 1-9, 2018. 

4. Dr. M. Suvinthra received Open Arms Travel Grant from International Mathematical Union (IMU) for travel, registration & accommodation to attend International Congress of Mathematics (ICM 2018), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, August 1-9, 2018. 

5. Dr. M. Suvinthra received Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation (HLFF) grant to participate in Heidelberg Laureate Forum (HLF 2018), Heidelberg, Germany, September 22 – 28, 2018.

6. Dr. R. Sakthivel is acknowledged as one of the Top 2% Scientists globally by Stanford University, USA since 2020.

7. Dr. N. Nithyadevi received travel grant from DST-SERB for participating in the International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ICIAM 2023), Tokyo, Japan, August 20 – 25, 2023.

8. Dr. R. Sakthivel received Tamil Nadu Scientist Award in Mathematical Sciences for the year 2023. 

A Memorandum of Understanding was established between Bharathiar University, India, and University of Évry Val d'Essonne, France for the period 2024-2027. Dr. R. Sakthivel, Professor and Head, Department of Applied Mathematics, Bharathiar University was appointed as the Cooperation Action Manager for the execution of this MoU.
