Mathematics of this University or an examination of other University accepted by the syndicate as equivalent and qualified in the common eligibility test of this university there to shall be eligible for admission to the M.Phil. programme.

Ph.D.(Mathematics)

The department offers Ph.D research programme in mathematics of recent interest. Candidates who have passed the degree examination in M.Sc. Mathematics of this University or an examination of other University accepted by the syndicate as equivalent and qualified in the common eligibility test of this university there to shall be eligible for direct admission in Ph.D. programme. Candidates who have passed the degree examination in M.Phil. Mathematics of this University or an examination of other University accepted by the syndicate as equivalent there to shall be eligible for admission in Ph.D. programme. The programme directs the research scholars to perform research by applying scientific research methodology and place the results in a broader context, formulate scientific issues and critically evaluate their own and others research.
