Bharathiar University Centre for University and Industry Collaboration was established as per the announcement in the Floor of Assembly, Government of Tamil Nadu order no. 5595/H2/2020-1 dated 17.04.2020, and includes the regulations given by the UGC letter no. D.O.No.F.1-14/2015/(CCP-II) dated 29.09.2015 in XII five-year plan.

About NIRF

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is a methodology adopted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to rank institutions of higher education in India. The framework was approved by the MHRD and launched by Ministry of Human Resource Development on September 29, 2015. 

About AISHE

All India survey of Higher Education was started in India in 2010-2011. A task force was formed constitution representatives from HRD ministry, University Grants Commission, All India Council of Technical Education, Medical Council of India (Now superseded by National Medical Commission), National University of Education Planning and Administration, Distance Education Council of India and representatives of many University.
