Computer Lab with Internet Facility

Students are allowed free internet access in the department with provision for multimedia accessories. The computer lab has 10 computers with dual Intel i5 systems in an air conditioned room.

The Department has taken effective measures to strengthen the student learning skills during COVID-19 Pandemic with the initiation of Value Added Courses and Job Oriented Courses from the academic year 2020-21 onwards. Dr.R.Muthukrishnan, Professor, Department of Statistics organized a series of online sessions on ‘R’ Software as a Value Added Course for students from the Department to explore the endless possibilities of data analytics relevant to the media industry.
