Past Events

The Department has conducted around eight conferences, had around 800 participants from all over India. The conferences and seminars have benefited students, faculty, and research scholars in the field of Psychology. The conferences served as a base for team building, understanding the latest trends in Psychology, identifying new areas of research.

Psychology lab

The Psychology lab has around 200 paper pencil tests (Questionnaires) and around 100 Instruments. The questionnaires and instruments measure a wide range of area to name a few cognitive psychology, memory, attention, memory, concept formation, mental health etc. The Psychology lab is constantly updated  with the latest questionnaires and instruments. 

Department Projects

The Department of Psychology receives funds from many funding agencies such as DRDO (New Delhi), ICSSR, IMPRESS, NCERT, UGC ICMR, CPRHE, NIEPA, SERB, DST, IIEP, UNESCO, (Paris), RUSA, BEICH. RUSA, BCTRC. All projects have been completed in the stipulated time. Currently there are seven ongoing projects in the Department of Psychology
