There are 136 well-equipped laboratories spread over various departments for conducting advanced research activities by faculty members, research scholars, and postgraduate students from within and outside the University.

A new Bharathiar University E-mail Verification System has been introduced for the benefit of our Students. By this system, your request will be received by Bharathiar University through E-mail.

Bharathiar University also supports research by providing seed money for the development and enhancement of research infrastructure to meet international standards. The University provides annual grant of Rs. 20–30 lakh for every Science Departments, and Rs. 5–10 lakhs to Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Students and faculty members pay visits and take up research training in abroad institutions collaborated with Bharathiar University periodically with research and in-person support from the University.
