Govt. of India Post Matric Scholarship

Eligible Candidates: SC/ST & SCC Candidates of Tamil Nadu. They should have secured Minimum of 75% attendance in their previous year of study.

Income Limit of Parents: Below Rs. 2,50,000/- per annum

In order to redress grievances of the students and other stakeholders, a system is introduced is the university by way of placing a “Green Box” at the entrance of the lobby. Grievances can be addressed to the authorities also through e-mail. The whole system of the redressal of grievance is directly handled by the Vice-Chancellor.

Researchers in the top 2%: Bharathiar University has been accredited to have 18 faculty members with recognition of the Top 2% of scientists of the world listed by Stanford University 2022.

High impact publications 

Bharathiar University was awarded the Most Prestigious Clarivate Analytics India Research Excellence – Citation Awards 2019, powered by Web of Science in the category “State University” in their 7th edition for citations, high quality, and high impact publications. As per the SCOPUS database, Bharathiar University has 11169 publications with 162623 citations and an ‘h’ index of 145 as of December 2022.

The University established special centres to effectively support and monitor the research activities on campus.

State-of-art laboratories 

There are 136 well-equipped laboratories spread over various departments for conducting advanced research activities by faculty members, research scholars, and postgraduate students from within and outside the University.
