The Department has taken effective measures to strengthen the student learning skills during COVID-19 Pandemic with the initiation of Value Added Courses and Job Oriented Courses from the academic year 2020-21 onwards. Dr.R.Muthukrishnan, Professor, Department of Statistics organized a series of online sessions on ‘R’ Software as a Value Added Course for students from the Department to explore the endless possibilities of data analytics relevant to the media industry.
