The Department of Psychology receives funds from many funding agencies such as DRDO (New Delhi), ICSSR, IMPRESS, NCERT, UGC ICMR, CPRHE, NIEPA, SERB, DST, IIEP, UNESCO, (Paris), RUSA, BEICH. RUSA, BCTRC. All projects have been completed in the stipulated time. Currently there are seven ongoing projects in the Department of Psychology

Phonetic Lab
The department is equipped with a phonetic laboratory consisting of 41 desktop computers and one server duly connected with online networking system. This laboratory helps the students and research scholars to take up all kinds of researches related to language and linguistics. Access to INFLIBNET facilities and intranet system of Bharathiar University add advantages to this laboratory.
