Centre for Internet and Website Services (CIWS)of Bharathiar University is responsible for maintaining the University website, website content uploading, email account and providing internet facility at University campus. Internet facility is provided to all the faculty members, research scholars, students and officers of the University through 1 Gbps connectivity of National Knowledge Network (NKN) through BSNL and 100 Mbps connectivity of Railtel Corporation of India Limited.

BUWC helps to bring out the talents of students and faculty members. As a part of BUWC, Bharathiar University Women’s Care Centre(BU-WCC) was established in the year 2008. This care centre serves as a place of rest and shelter for the women staff and students of Bharathiar University when they are feeling indisposed.
